2008 Annual Report Community Investment Program

Since 1900, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS) has been a point of pride for the Rocky Mountain Region. With its mission to inspire curiosity and excite minds of all ages through scientific discovery and the presentation and preservation of the world’s unique treasures, the hope is that many young Museum visitors will become the leaders of tomorrow.

Each year, the Museum is able to bring world-class exhibitions to Colorado and reach 300,000 schoolchildren through various education programs. The DMNS scholarship program provides funds to cover their program fee (if it’s a class) or admission (if it’s an exhibit). A high percentage of the students touched by the programs at DMNS would not be able to participate without the scholarship program, largely supported by a grant from OppenheimerFunds.

For more information on the Museum, visit their website at: www.dmns.org.
